I bought a 600cc Honda that was bent. I also thought it just needed body work, but it turned out it also has a bent subframe, bent swingarm and one bent fork leg. Ended up being a BIG pain in the ass to get it back to a straight condition.
The nature of the damage on this bike looks like it went down really hard and in a weird way. Note the damage on the tank - I don't think it was a simple low-side - looks more like a high side or tumble after a big wheelie went bad. I can almost guarantee that the chassis is bent.
In my limited experience in the sportbike world, lowered and stretched bikes seem to live the second hardest lives of all road bikes behind the bikes ridden by icy hot stuntazzz, too.
